Bankara Ramen

Despite being well known with food diversity, good ramen is hard to come by in Melbourne. So far we've only come across one noteworthy. Recently we came across this new franchise. The photos look promising but we passed it the first time as it's rather pricey.

But today the wind is right for ramen and so me and Nite decided to give it a try. Verdict is for the price it should taste better. Nite finds it too oily but I guess it can't be helped since it's cooked in fat pork bones. That's what Bankara means. Fatty pork bone.

I won't be in a hurry to recommend it even though it is the second best that we've had in Melbourne.
